You live in a body as magnificent and wondrous as the universe. In fact, the body that you take for granted has its own near boundless universe within it, comprised of approximately 100 trillion cells. Within each of the trillions of cells in your body there are 30 billion biochemical reactions going on moment to moment, none of which requires any thought on your part.
The source and foundation of healing is the wisdom of the body, a term coined by the famous English physician William Harvey and then used again by Professor E. H. Starling and finally becoming the title of Walter Cannon’s seminal work The Wisdom of the Body, published in 1932. Harvey, Starling and Cannon were pioneering medical physiologists who are studied to this day in medical schools around the world. Their inquiries into the inner world of the body left them with a sense of awe about the astonishing complexity of the body’s regulatory systems. They opened the door to this multi system molecular universe that permits us to live our lives.
The Neuro Acupuncture System is a multisystem information network system that allows you to tap into the inner wisdom of the body, safely, without drugs, surgery, or side effects. Research has shown Neuro-Acupuncture System can activate the ten following areas/systems in your body:
1. Activation of the body's natural opioid system your own natural pain killers Inserting a needle into the correct NAU sends a signal through the nervous system to the brain, where chemicals such as endorphins, norepinephrine and enkephalin are released. Some of these substances are 10 to 200 times more potent than morphine. Through this mechanism, acupuncture helps the brain accurately ‘locate’ the pain and reduce it and induce sleep.
2. The Neuro-Acupuncture System reduces both the intensity and perception of chronic pain.
It does this through a process called “descending control normalization”, which involves the serotonergic nervous system.
3. Neuro-Acupuncture stimulates the Central Nervous System (CNS).
This is the principle mechanism of acupuncture that explains how neural acupuncture units can produce an effect on internal organs and other parts of the body. The neural acupuncture units are found at major concentrations of nerves and blood vessels. Stimulation of these points sends a signal along the nerve fiber to the spinal cord where combinations of dorsal root reflexes and dorsal root potentials along with propriospinal reflexes produce measurable effects in the brain, viscera, and other parts of the body
4. Neuro-Acupuncture stimulates the body’s built-in healing mechanisms.
Acupuncture stimulates the body’s ability to spontaneously heal injuries to the tissue through nervous, immune and endocrine system activation. As the body heals, it heals any surrounding tissue damage left over from old injuries.
The Body’s Wisdom: Because of the staggering amount of DNA directed activity that goes on in your body each day, there is a system for detecting and eliminating any cells whose DNA division has gone wrong, thereby creating a defective cell. This surveillance system is maintained by your immune system and its army of natural killer cells (NK cells). NK cells have the ability to detect a cell that is behaving aberrantly, or reproducing excessively without normal controls, and to kill it. In other words, a healthy immune system kills cancer cells on a daily basis. You can heal a cut or scratch on your skin through a symphony of cellular intelligence.
5. Neuro-Acupuncture System Regulates Parasympathetic Portion of the Nervous System
You’ve probably heard of the “fight-or-flight” response that is governed by the sympathetic nervous system. The parasympathetic nervous system has been called the “rest-and-digest” or “calm-and-connect” system, and in many ways is the opposite of the sympathetic system. Recent research has implicated impaired parasympathetic function in a wide range of autoimmune diseases, including arthritis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease.
This is perhaps the most important systemic effect of acupuncture. Recent research suggests that acupuncture stimulates the release of oxytocin, a hormone and signaling substance that regulates the parasympathetic nervous system.
6. Conduction of electromagnetic signals
These signals start the flow of pain-relief biochemical, such as endorphins, or release immune system cells to specific body sites.
7. Neuro-Acupuncture promotes blood flow.
Your bone marrow makes 2.5 million red blood cells per second.
This is significant because everything the body needs to heal is in the blood, including
oxygen, nutrients we absorb from food, immune substances, hormones, analgesics (painkillers) and anti-inflammatory substances. Restoring proper blood flow is vital to promoting and maintaining health. For example, if blood flow is diminished by as little as 3% in the breast area cancer may develop. Blood flow decreases as we age and can be impacted by trauma, injuries and certain diseases. Acupuncture has been shown to increase blood flow and vasodilation in several regions of the body.
8. Neuro-Acupuncture for Sports and Trauma Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Pain
Relaxes shortened muscles. This in turn releases pressure on joint structures and nerves, and allows better blood circulation.
Improves muscle stiffness and joint mobility – by increasing local microcirculation
Accelerates tissue healing
Activates immune and anti-inflammatory responses
Initiation of physiologic tissue restorative and regenerative mechanisms
Reduction of muscle spasms
Reduction of inflammation
Reduction of Pain in multiple sites
Reduce tissue adhesion
Improvement of biomechanical imbalance.
9. Stimulation of the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland
Stimulation of these glands can result in a broad spectrum of effects on various body systems:
Including the heart, lungs, kidneys, pancreas, liver, muscles
10. Change in the secretion of neurotransmitters and neuro hormones.
This is accomplished by changing the release of neurotransmitters (biochemical substances that stimulate or inhibit nerve impulses) and necrohormones (naturally-occurring chemical substances that can change the structure or function, or impact the activity of, a body organ).
Each day there are billions of DNA replications occurring amongst the trillions of cells in your body, in order to keep you going and repaired as a fully functioning human. The DNA molecule unzips and creates two cells from one in order to replace old cells with new ones. And, each cell uses its DNA to create the proteins that orchestrate the wonder of your body at every level.
